Privacy — Happy Kids, Happy Parents (English)
Effective 11 Oct 2026. Developer: Vulstrix. Contact: vulstrix@gmail.com
Happy Kids is a private app for a single family (chores, rewards, children's progress, family chat). Only members of your family see your data. No ads, no third-party analytics or trackers; data is never sold or shared.
Data we store
- Parent: name, email, password (stored as a secure hash only).
- Child: name and PIN (hash only). No email and no date of birth are collected from children.
- Content the family adds: tasks, rewards, reviews, school grades, chat messages, photos and videos, settings.
- Push subscription address of the device. We do not log IP addresses.
- Usage counts: which app section was open and for how many seconds per day — no content, no device data; shown to the developer only as aggregate charts. No third-party analytics.
- Support messages that parents send to the developer from the app.
Family galaxy
Other families can see yours in the in-app "Galaxy" only in anonymised form: the family name and children's names are masked (first and last letter only), plus the number of parents and children, each child's companion, level and trophy count, and this week's tasks and trophies. No photos, location, tasks, messages or grades. A parent can hide the family from the Galaxy at any time.
Storage and access
Data is stored on Cloudflare servers used by this app only. Photos and videos are visible to family members only. Push notifications are sent via Google/Apple as an empty signal with no names or text; the device then fetches the text from our server. One session cookie (hk_s) keeps you signed in: 30 days for parents, 180 days for children.
Account and data deletion
Email vulstrix@gmail.com from the parent's email address and state whether to delete a child's account or the entire family. We delete accounts, tasks, messages, grades, photos and videos within 30 days. Database backups expire no later than 30 days after that.
